Treat yourself to a fishing trip to remember on Vancouver Island's rugged north coast. Situated near the tip of the Island near Cape Scott, Winter Harbour is at the entrance to scenic Quatsino Sound and narrows. Fish for one of the many types of fish, including salmon, halibut, lingcod, yellow-eye(red snapper), sea bass, and numerous other species of rockfish, which are all located just a short distance away from the resort. Water taxis are used to transport our guests from Coal Harbour to the resort in Winter Harbour. Coal Harbour is only a 15 minute drive from Port Hardy, which is accessible by either air or major highway.

Our fish packing services for our guests include, freezing, canning, hot smoking, cold smoke lox, and vacuum packing of all your catches (hot smoking, cold smoke lox, canning, and vacuum packing of catches are an additional cost).
